Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Bonnie, the treatment coordinator, is the veteran staff member since she joined Orthodontic Associates 36 years ago. She and her husband, Denny, have one daughter, Melissa, who works part-time for the practice. Bonnie and Denny enjoy boating. They have two grandchildren, Addison & Cooper, who they enjoy spoiling!
Cinda, who joined Orthodontic Associates 23 years ago, is the Business Manager for the practice. She and her husband, Mike, are proud parents of four grown children and have two beautiful grandchildren. She loves to read, garden, cook and travel.
Cheryl, who greets patients and coordinates dental care appointments, joined Orthodontic Associates 19 years ago. She and her husband, Scott, have two children. Their daughter is an ISU graduate and their son is a graduate of SIU. Cheryl and her husband enjoy traveling.
Linda has enjoyed greeting and caring for our patients for the last 14 years. She is also the insurance secretary. She and her husband, Dave, have three grown children, and are thrilled to have their first grandchild. They enjoy traveling and visiting their children in Colorado and Alaska. Linda also enjoys sewing and quilting.
Mary first joined Orthodontic Associates in 1974, and worked until 1981. She returned in 2005 as a part-time orthodontic assistant. Orthodontics has always been her passion and she really enjoys the patient interaction. Mary and her husband, Mark, have two grown daughters. When she is not baking and decorating cakes, she is helping with her daughter’s photography business.
Lisa joined Orthodontic Associates in 2000 as a receptionist. Lisa spends most of her free time as a leader for Girl Scouts and helper for Boy Scouts. She and her husband, Rick, have two children and live on a small farm in the Clinton area.
Melissa joined Orthodontic Associates as an orthodontic assistant in 1997, and worked for two years. She returned in 2004 as a part-time assistant because she has always had a passion for working in this field and caring for patients. Melissa and her husband, Jeremey, live in Lexington and have two small children, Addison and Cooper.
Rebecca has been an orthodontic assistant for 14 years. She is married to Perry, and has two children. She enjoys running, attending her children's activities and being with family and friends. The best part of her job is the friendships she builds with her patients and the fun she has with her co-workers.
Karla joined Orthodontic Associates in 2005 as a receptionist. She enjoys interacting with patients. She and her husband, Rich, live in rural Chenoa. They have one daughter, a graduate of University of Illinois, who will be attending graduate school in England in the fall. They enjoy traveling and going to concerts. Karla loves to bake and share her treats with the other office staff members.
Sarah recently joined Orthodontic Associates as a Sterilization Assistant and is excited to be part of the team. She is a junior at Normal Community High School where she plays the violin and runs track. She also enjoys being involved in her church youth group.
Candy has been working at Orthodontic Associates as an orthodontic assistant for 4 years. She usually works part -time at our Normal office location. Candy really enjoys working with patients and seeing their smiles transform. She and her fiancee, Andy, will be getting married in July of 2009.
